The DNR used to make deer count estimates but have stopped that and now only. Count wolves. Sounds like there are more wolves than deer. If you protect the predator the natives will take the hot. These wolves are doing exactly what they want to happen as part of the long term goal. Kill off the deer and people will no longer deer hunt and will not carry on the tradition of teaching the young to hunt. Rid the land of huntable animals and gun usage decreases. The number of licenses purchased is a clear indication of the sport is rapidly dying out. 30 more years and nobody will be hunting in MI. Cannot blame it all on the DNR because the feds are involved. But I do not see them fighting for the deer hunters to manager this disaster. Shortly they will be asking for money for management but all the hunters will be gone.

Bowfins fins do not turn green because of algae, they turn green when they are spawning. This is probably the most misinformed thing ever said on this channel.

The bowfin get green fins when they are spawning, not because of algae. Also, common carp are not invasive in Michigan. They are naturalized.

You know this is about the most stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life they opened up coyote season year-round because we are overpopulated with coyotes they're so bad in Detroit that they're down there in the middle of the city getting into people's garbage and the people are too dumb to realize they're looking at a coyote they think it's somebody's dog there's that many in Detroit but let's go ahead and shut everything down so they can make more

Your use of the drone footage is an aesthetically appealing enhancement to your show. I know the drone operator would rather be hunting or fishing, but the panoramic shots are worth your effort. What drone(s) do you use and what sort of cameras do they carry?

You know the thing is they're overpopulated in the upper peninsula they're killing everything up there that's on the ground and nobody seems to care about it the deer are running out nothing is safe up there when you've got overpopulation of wolves and they get all their orders from Lansing Michigan and they are not doing anything about it they've ruined deer hunting in the upper peninsula when you talk to Hunters and they say they see more wolves than they see deer

Lol, awesome, Brown. I remember when Mr Smith built the store and the lodge came later. He taught how to cast in the pond behind the store. I spent many a dollar in there on some of his hand tied Flys. It seems there's been several people since Mr. Smith built the store. I used to have a place just down the road near Dublin store. Great show about 2 rivers i love. Some cool facts there's a St. Joe river that runs through my town that eventually flows into the Maumee river and lake Erie. And another St. Joe river that drains into the st. Joe river on here and lake Michigan. Kinda cool water from within a few miles of me flows into 2 great lakes.
